DIV's Live Sound

Okay, so you've heard the studio tracks and some MIDI mixes that we use in the digital system. The following four tracks are actually all from the same hour-long continuous mix that features our MIDI mixes, a couple of origninal tunes, several different loops, grooves, and beats, as well as some cover songs by other artists.
   Listen to how we overlap our beats from our music to the music of other artists and try to distinguish the loops and beats from those of the tracks'.
   What you will hear on these four tracks is exactly what a DIV show/set would sound like. We have included all of the live mistakes too, so if the volume drops out a bit here and there, or if a cross fade is a bit hasty or slow, it is there to show that this is indeed a live continuous effort.
   This piece was performed and recorded in May of 2009. Enjoy!

Mike modeled this hour-long mix after a 90's mix tape motif. Keep in mind that he had never rehearsed this set until the system was set up and the set was opened. So this is a true on-the-fly live mix.
